I need to fathom positive & negative !?

This is my PMG generator.
I believe I hooked up incorrectly.

Which do I put to positive & negative on my inverter ?

PMG's produce AC not DC so no positive or negative hence the L1 and L2. Which inverter do you have and which turbine do you have, what are the voltage ranges they operate on. If the picture is of the AC to DC rectifier then its missing vital info.

Neither, you need to rectify the AC coming from the PMG into DC and connect that to your charge controller and the batteries. You're missing a few parts if you're trying to go straight from the PMG to the inverter.
