Interesting "feature" on Rec

Sent message to Rec. Waiting on answer.

I went to take apart a battery pack and add insulators between the cells. Turned off one of the slave to deeneregize the pack. 30 sec later , the Sma Si6048 shut down and gave error that bms timed out.

I hope this is a program fault and not a feature. What good is multiple slaves when the whole 70kwh of batteries shuts off because of one bad cell in a pack.

After many issues, I cannot honestly recomend Rec anymore.

The answer.
Master will cut off the inverter because it cannot communicate with all slaves anymore.
If you restart the Master unit without module 2 it will work again. When you want to include module 2 back to the system please shut down the Master unit, connect it to the system and then start the Master unit again.

Doesn't that just suck a big one.
