I've been offered a forklift battery, what should I do with it?

Hi,

I have been offered a forklift battery for free - data sheet here https://www.exidegroup.com/eu/sites/default/files/2017-06/GNB_MP_MARATHON_MXMXXREPDF01116_1.pdf but it is a 6 year old 24v 300amp hour battery with an estimated 50% power loss.

I currently have a 3.8 Grid tie system coming in through a Growatt 3600 TL-XE inverter.

Is this battery going to be anyway useful and if so what charge controller/inverter should I pair it with.

(I am also in the process of doubling the system size and moving to this https://www.itstechnologies.shop/co...1-high-voltage-6-0kw-hybrid-inverter-incl-bms would the battery be useful for this at all?

Thanks

Alan

My scrap yard pays $.21 /lb…

Ok, so this doesn't seem like a go-er then?

The battery is from my father, from a forklift that is being scrapped (due to other failures) he was seeing if I wanted it rather than doing it that way so it really isn't a case of being lumbered with it.
