JBD BMS not discharging and showing micro volts on cells not there.

Hi guys, I have just replaced a failed bms with a JBD 7s-14s 30A bms. I can connect to fine via Bluetooth but it will not discharge. It only outputs 7.96V.

I have a 10S configuration. The wiring diagram says to connect the remaining bms cell wires up to the 14S all to the 10S cell. For some reason I am getting micro voltages on cells 13 and 14 when really they should be zeros like 11 and 12.

There is also 2 solder points on the board for a switch which I have bridged but it doesn't seem to do anything. Also, everytime I turn on the discharges switch it resets back to off.

Do I need to set anything up on PC through the UART connection? This is doing my head in and I'm struggling to find any information that may help.

Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You are going to have to set a parameter in the BMS that tells it is set up for 10 cells and not 14 cells

Have you tried turning the ‘Discharge Switch’ to on ? Seems like it is off.
