Just got my 280AH "DIY" battery in... (7 weeks)

Hey, Hows it going? Got my battery in today and looking forward to getting it wired up.

I got a Renogy 40A DC-DC charger to charge it off my alternator.

So DC-DC charger with a 100a fuse in between that and the battery and thats that?

Then from battery to 12v fuse box with 150amp fuse (125amp BMS) and cut off switch on that side yall think, and thats it eh?

Any knowledge input on what i should watch out for or be safe on, and/or links to wiring diagrams would be appreciated. (I'll search for some wiring diagrams myself also)

Thanks for any input. (i have a little bit of swelling on 1 cell too, damnit!!) Ill def. be using studs also.

Can i get this moved to the General battery discussion? My bad. It was late after a few beers. lol.. I felt it was in the wrong area.

Also, any suggested 150-200a BMS with low temp charging protection thats in stock?
