Hello, for the 3pv inputs which have a max of 600 voc, I’m having a hard time correctly finalizing if I can run 12 or 10 in a series, let me attach an image of our panel data sheet.

I understand for ambient temperatures down to 31 degreees I multiply voc by 1.10.

That electric guide was assuming the base rating was done at 25C. My data sheet looks like it’s providing numbers based on 20C, so do I not need to use such an aggressive multiplier? Difference is 10 vs 12 panels.

Just to be sure..... are you saying 31F is the lowest you ever will get? That is -.6C. that rounds to -1C.

The 20C is from NMOT. You must use the STC value (25C).

The Beta for your panels is -.29%/degC. That works out to a multiplier of 1.075.

With a STC Voc of 49.7, the temp adjusted voc is 49.7 x 1.075 =53.18 12 panels would give you 638V
