Micro Inverters vs String for off-grid home

So a string inverter requires grid power to operate, even if it's an off grid inverter that doesn't actually require AC input?
Enphase micro inverter need to see 240v to synchronize. Normally provided by the grid, but Hub can do it off grid.

Off grid string inverters do not need grid. Since they are the only power producer (vs multiple micro inverters), they don't need to synchronize to anything.

Note: off grid inverter with generator will either transfer to generator, or be able to synchronize with it.

And?

Second post. No mention whatsoever of ENPHASE, so what exactly are you rebutting? Don't use Enphase for off grid seems to be the answer, why did you think that what you wrote negated what I wrote?
