Hi,
I am currently running a MPP LV5048 and I have 4,000 watts of solar going into PV input 1. I find that I often peak over the 5,000 watts for the inverter forcing it to switch back to grid and I am starting to consider upgrading it.
My issue is that all of these newer units that are out all high fairly high minimum solar input voltages. I have 10 panels in series of 2. This for me had a bunch of benefits for shading, this is more or less a requirement for me in this situation. This results in my solar voltage range however being from 60V up to about 90V, mostly hovering in the high 70s to mid 80v. So this seems to be an issue for most of these newer all in ones, I don't think that will work.
