MPP Solar LV5048 PV1 and PV2 different Voltages Okay?

Hi,

I want to setup my PV2 but it will be at a different voltage form PV1, they are two different solar panel arrays with different panels and voltages is that fine?

I think it is just wondering.

That unit has 2X MPPT limited to 145Voc.

PV1 and PV2 can be at different voltages.

Another question any reason I should not over panel the second Input? It'll just pull as much as it can right?

Assuming that the MPPT have an 80A output (typical for a MPPT outputting 4kW to a 48V battery), as long as the array ISC isn't above 80A, you should be fine.

Again, never exceed the 145Voc under any condition. In most cases, you're stuck with 2S 72 cell panels or 3S 60 cell panels.
