Iv recently purchased 5 new sealed leisure batteries, 3x 100 ah 2x 135ah.

Iv also recently (today) learned about the ncc battery classes, a, b and c.

My batteries are all class c, which when using in caravans should not have much time away from being charged and only used to run small loads such as lights.

The load side of things is fine as I'm only running a greenhouse setup with max output of around 40-50watt for a fan and 2 small water pumps.

Iv searched this forum for any reference to the ncc classes and what classes are good for a solar set-up with no such luck.

Seeing as the batteries will always be hooked up to a 500watt panel they should be in theory always being slowly charged and the low class rating shouldn't be a problem. Or am I very wrong and need to be looking at class a batteries ?
