Well, my husband threw me a curve ball. So, I put together an RV solar system based on Will's " Classic 400 W".

My husband really doesn't want to hook up the DC wires to the DC Fuse Block. We don't know how long we'll have the RV for so he'd like to see if there's a way to shut off the converter when we're using solar and turn it back on when we're using the generator/shore power. Is that possible? If so, what do I need to get and how do I hook it up?

Here's what I have so far:
-600 W panels w/12v-48v 60A MPPT Charge Controller solar kit from HQST
- 3000 W Renogy Inverter
- 500A w/Shunt Renogy Battery Monitor
- 4 Weize 12v 100Ah Deep Cycle Batteries
- 4/0 AWG Pure Copper Inverter Cable wires 18in 5/16 lugs
- 2 AWG Pure Copper Battery Cables 12in 5/16 lugs (4)
- 10 AWG 12v Oxygen free cooper stranded wire 50ft
- Blue Sea Systems 2315 100 Amp mini bus bar
-Blue Sea Systems 5026 ST Blade Fuse Block 12 circuit
- T Tocas Hi-Amp 70A Type III Circuit Breaker w/manual reset 12v-48v
- 400A MEGA Fuse Holder + 2 fuse Bundle 12v-24v
- T Tocas Master Battery Cut Off Switch 12v-48v

Thank you for your help!

Yes. According to Will's site, as I understood how to size mega fuses, I needed 312.5A but they don't make ( or I didn't see) one for 350A so I got 400A.
3000w/12v=250A
250x1.25=312.5A

Did I do that wrong?
