had the service ppl out here today and said it is not right but the bloody thing is password locked so cant get to the settings to see or change anything on the inverter.

this is what i have type 2

also no one has the password do these things have a batt like say a mother board that i could remove to get rid of it ?

other wise the council will have to fit a new inverter as the service guy has never seen monitoring like this and said everyone moans about the panels doing nothing and now i can see why lol.DSC_0005_01.JPGDSC_0007_03.JPG

called lcx and they said it is working fine and i dont need a new inverter and is all working how it should as the guy tested it all, all he had was a step ladder and they just reset it!!

council is like banging my head against a brick wall can not compute numbers and data ie its not exporting when it should.

rang a 3rd party solar place and explained the situation and even they said it is not right but they charge 390 quid inc vat and prob wont be able to do much as inverter is password locked so idk what to do lol.

guess the next option is to turn it all off and see what the numbers say?

well i just dont get it if it is not exporting it where is it not going, is the service life on these things 10 years? not sure what inverter it is but must be at least ten years old i think.

i just can not see what benefit at all these things are to me other than a fire risk and lcx that does service them thinks turning it of and on does the job:eek:

tho after near 8 years i get a new contractor to look at doing my bathroom next week.

its the same twats as screwed it all up in the first place :ROFLMAO:

best day so far for export a massive 400w seems turing it off and giving it a brake has made it a tiny bit better but have done the same thing tonight so see what the data says.

“Units affected by the recall were manufactured by Eltek AS between 2013 and 2015. Thus, before Delta formally acquired Eltek (mid 2015). By early 2015, Eltek had exited the segment and stopped all shipments globally,” the spokesperson said.

The recalled inverters measure about 28 inches high by 14 inches wide by 6.5 inches deep. They were sold in four different kilowatt ratings: 2.0 kW, 2.9 kW, 3.8, kW, and 4.4 kW. “Eltek,” and the model designation “THEIA” and “HE-t” are printed on the front display panel of the inverter. The inverters could be installed in different places in consumers’ homes.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled inverters, turn off the switch on the inverter’s front cover, switch off the circuit breaker for the inverter and contact Delta
