Purchased a 2 x 100ah 12v Polaris Lithium batteries and the instruction doesn't allow me to connect these battery to produce 24 v in series

No
The BMS's aren't rated for more voltage.
If you return them. I would recommend that you buy the correct voltage battery for your system. We don't recommend putting BMS controlled batteries in series.
