Hi there

I am thinking of building my own DIY power bank, so that I can power WS2812 B LED Light strip with a Dig to go WLED controller.

The options I have are purchasing a retail made power bank for £100-120.00 quid or building my own.

Specs

I would like it to be between

-35000ma – 50000ma capacity.

-USB Type C Power delivery @ 5v 3.3 amps or 10 amps etc.

- Be rechargable via USB type C or solar panel.

What components would I need.

Battery BMS board

Solar charge controller

This is what I am trying to accomplish as per the attached article.

Off the top of my head, I would think about:
Solar panel with 5v output
Power regulator to 3.40v
One lifep04 cell
3v zener diode
3v to 5v usb buck boost converter

You should be able to float the cell at 3.4v, and the diode prevents under voltage.
