Hi,
I'm considering expanding my current setup by adding a battery, but due to cost constraints, I plan to start by only acquiring a hybrid inverter and a battery later. I'm looking at possibly getting a used GivEnergy 3600W PV Hybrid Inverter.
Here is the manual for reference: GivEnergy Inverter Manual
The manual mentions the need for a communication cable between the inverter and the battery. Does anyone have experience with this model ? I'm concerned that the communications probably wont follow an open standard and would limit future battery options to only GivEnergy products. Can anyone confirm if this is the case or share their insights?
Thanks in advance!
