I am wanting to create a non-integrated solar setup for my rv. Basically a large solar generator I can plug the rv into, and leave the existing electrical system alone.
Normal use case is charge the batteries with solar and run the rv off the inverter.
When solar isn’t keeping up, charge the batteries with 3k watt generator through chargeverter limited to 120v.
When grid is available use it for the rv, and to top off the batteries through chargeverter.
I have done a ton of research, but I don’t know what I don’t know. Is there any major design flaw, or reason it’s a bad idea?
I did notice the EG4 rack battery had an elevation limit of 9,843 ft (3000m), but looking it up I can’t find a reason for the limit.
