Hi guys,

Im sure this has been covered soo many times but i bought a DIY battery kit from QSO i am having issues getting this monitoring software to work.
I got a RS485 to usb adapter and wired it according to the manual.
The software.... so i followed the instructions:
first import the protocols one by one.. then im supposed to change the baud rate and port number, and thats where the software is unresponsive.
I can select or change anything.

Did anyone else have this issue?
I tried to reach out to QSO and Seplos and i was told watch videos on you tube lol.
They didnt even reference a video lol.

the software won't even open on a non windows (chromebook) !!! has anyone got around this yet? i have emailed seplos but assume i wont hear back for a day or two ....

Did you install the RS485 drivers? (FTDI VCP probably)
Check in Device Manager, Com and LPT and see if there is a com port. If not, there is nothing for the battery software to select, which is why the buttons don't do anything.
