I have (9) 325W solar panels in a 3s3p configuration. My battery bank consists of (18) 36v used scooter batteries each with their own 30A Dally 10S BMS.
Battery packs:
40 cell 18650 10s4p (36v)
Typical Capacity: 3200mAh
Nominal Capcity: 3100mAh
I am using a Victron 150/60 Solar controller. For the past year, I manually set up the Bulk/Float/Equalization to 42V on all 3. I havent had any issues however I feel that this is not correct or at least not optimal.
PDF for Victron 150/60
In the PDF is shows for a 36v system:
Absorption: 43,2
Float: 41.4
Equalization: 48,6 (This is the one that I really dont understand)
DALY BMS spec PDF
I never looked at the limiting parameters as to what is best for my DIY batteries.
Can someone explain which voltages should or should NOT be in the 3 charging parameters?
Thank you.
