I took the slightly punctured battery I got for free from @Will Prowse and repurposed it to stabilize the voltage of my converter

I remember that video. Did you seal it back up? Seems like it might be ok if it's sealed preventing the electrolyte from drying up. But yeah, I'd be afraid to use that indoors man ?

I put liquid bandaid ? on it and it’s out in a shipping container so not really “indoors?”

You should clean up the wiring. Even if it's temporary. Everything in this picture is not complex and can be easily cleaned up. Having a battery that close to those random pcbs is asking for problems.

Glad the battery is being put to use, but make it better. Not hard to do with this setup at all.
