*SOLD* Gen 1 LEAF Battery, 51% SoH, $1,000

Complete and fully functioning Gen 1 Nissan LEAF battery, removed from a customer's 2012 LEAF in order to facilitate an upgrade to a larger pack. This pack has ~55k mi on it, and was showing 6 bars on the dash when pulled. According to LEAFSPY, this battery has ~51% SoH (see screenshot). Pack is unopened and complete with all 48 modules (each 2s2p), BMS, bus bars, compression plates, contactors, etc.

Due to the degradation, the best use of this would be a budget minded energy storage project, EV conversion, or whatever other DIY thing you can think up. Alternatively, if you wanted to stick it back into a 2011 or 2012 LEAF, that could also be done (and we could even install it for you at some extra cost).

So, the actual capacity is close to 12kWh based on the SoH, and you want $100/kWh for 11-12 year old cells that have sustained substantial heat and cycle damage and is well past EV end of life.

Good luck. You'll probably find a sucker, but hopefully not here.
