Suggestions for re-bulk offset voltage?

Hi all,

I'm just looking for some thoughts on setting the "re-bulk offset voltage" with my victron controllers. By default it is 0.2v, I have changed it to 0.5v as that is more in line with what I'm used to seeing on my former Epever Tracers (boost reconnect 13.2v)

I have an AGM bank, currently configured in 12v/850ah.

Other settings for reference Bulk 14.4v, adaptive absorption, float 13.7v

What is the difference of setting re-bulk to occurr at either 13.2v or 13.5v? .... I'm clueless

If the battery is on float volts and the solar conditions are not met by the load, battery volts fall. If below 're bulk' controller re enters bulk charging to absorbtion volt target. With lead acid I cannot see there would be much difference between 13.2 or 13.5., any significant load would easily pull the volts below 13.0.
Perhaps to allow for momentary cloud the lower value would be better.

Mike

IMHO, I like 12.9V - that's about what an AGM typically reads for OCV after a good rest at 100% SoC. If your loads have pulled it down that far, it's time to bulk again if the power is available.
