Switch for Victron Multiplex 2

I just got a Multiplex 2 3000w and want to hook up a switch to turn the unit on and off remotely. Can I do this without buying the victron switch and just use a standard 12v switch. And if so, how would I hook that up.

Should be covered in the "optional connections" section in your manual. You can use a simple "on-off-on" switch if you want to replicate the functions of the front panel switch.
