I have a few questions I need some clarification on if you could assist.
I rent a house with the following installed (2 years old)
Kodak 5KW inverter (Manual shows OG5.48)
Kodak Solar FL5.2 48V battery.
12 x 400W panels.
(Completely offgrid)
So the battery and inverter is not in my house so I do not have constant overview of what is happening.
Lately we have been running out of power during the night constantly. So I installed an energy meter in my DB to see what is going on.
According to this meter we use and average of about 0.9KWH each night 5pm to 5am.
I am not questioning the meter accuracy as it shows the correct Watt increase and decrease as I turn appliances on and off.
So power is getting lost somewhere or something is seriously wrong as the 5.1kwh battery hardly last the night.
I need to show this to my landlord as he thinks we are just wasting power all the time.
So here are my questions regarding some inverter information.
Question 1:
On the display settings there is one that shows day consumption
When does this day start and end? Does it reset and when?
It shows PV energy for day. (That is total energy from the panels for the day.)
Load output energy for day. (Does this include loading the battery or only what we consumed via the inverter?)
Question 2:
Does this reset function reset all the stored data once off if I enable it now or is it a reset function to reset it after each day, month, year?
Can I reset the data now so I can see what happens over the next 5 hours? (Hope that makes sense.)
