Top balance or other maintenance after a year of service?

If you are regularly charging all cells above 3.40V with sufficient time for balancing, and if the battery can be fully charged to 3.50V+ without balance issues, there is zero value in another top balance.

Healthy cells regularly cycled into the balancing range should never need another top balance unless they are left dormant for an extended period.
