Victrons European/Int'l equipment has an input range of 187-265 VAC and 45-65hz, and outputs 230 or 240 VAC at 50hz or 60hz

This may be a dumb question (my specialty) but would an output of 240 V / 60 Hz actually be useful for anything. Same numbers as split phase, but its not split phase, does that matter, would US 240V appliances work like this.
I asked an youtuber devildestiny555 about MPP Solar 5048MK inverter that does 240v @ 60hz in the US market. He is able to use it to run the house mini-splits with it offgrid for around two years now. His answer was, if is 240v @ 60hz and the appliances could take that, it doesn't care, 240v split phase or single phase, it will work. When delivering 240v in the US, it is using two hot wires, L1 and L2. There is no neutral wire to the outlet. The MPP could change the output frequency between 50/60hz.
