My Dad bought all this solar/off grid equipment and he passed away in March. Now I have things without part numbers or any clue to what it is. There are a few item, but attached will be what I would suspect is some type of power distribution unit. Could someone help me identify it? Thank you in advance!

Sorry for your loss. I think what you have there is an inverter. It takes battery power and turns it into 110v and 220v AC output. It may also use the 110v input to charge the battery. I've never seen one like this before.

Yeah, from what I could find online, it would be a pure sine inverter. I couldn't find anything quite like it. It appears to be brand new (when he bought it) without any time on it. Seems like I could find one online, but nothing. He was an engineer and really understood this stuff, but it's not my career field. Also, thank you!

Sorry to hear about your loss - from recent experience it's harder than one imagines, especially when there is so much to sort out afterwards.

I believe it is a Power Jack Low Frequency 15000W inverter or similar.

Am guessing early 2000's from the design

I really am not sure it is a inverter. Looks more like a step up transformer. 110vAC input and 220/110vAC outputs.

Edit: Looks like SeaGal found it.

Wow, that's it. I'm not sure how you found it, but I couldn't. Dad has so much here that was never used. He had big plans for something, but got sick and couldn't complete it. Since I have no clue where to even start with making this operational, I have to get it sold. I'm trying to put my finger on a lot of these items, but when you're clueless, it's a shot in the dark. Many items have nomenclatures like the 2500w inverters, but some have nothing. Thanks for a push in the right direction. Anyone know the best place to sell these items? Thanks!

Powerjack does not have a good reputation. It might be rather difficult to find a buyer.

(y) LOL, Google of course ;) I'm no superwoman... just right mouse clicked on your second image and selected "Search image with Google"!

Could try putting it on the items for sale on here; fingers crossed someone may want it for spares or have a specialist need - but I guess it is heavy and outdated and unsupported. Sad really to see how well things were made back then.

I don't have the option to right click and search in Google, but that's new to me... good to know. There have been so many scammers and malware that I have my computer locked down and probably the reason I cannot do it. Is there even a place to sell on here? What is with this unit that the one person stated "this disaster waiting to happen?" Is there something that bad about this thing?

Probably so, unless something was done to make them unusable like hooking up the battery power backwards or overloaded to the point of burn out.

The only way to tell for sure is to hook them up and see if you get AC out the other end.

To sell post in the right sub-forum.
Pictures and descriptions and a link to it online and with a price.

Powerjack is notorious for selling high output claim inverters that barely meet 1/4 rating.
Also often low quality "pure sine" as well as high failure rate.
They do work, but are lowest of low end appliances.
Back in the day, many youtubers supported them with repair videos and testing videos.

I dont see them as often as in the mid 2010s...
The 2500W inverter is a vehicle model, modified sine wave.
Probably worth around $50
The big inverter likely will work with lead acid batteries, or maybe a HUGE bank of 18650's setup precicely.
I wouldnt want them in my house.

Back when a quality 12Kw inverter was selling for 3 to 5K, these sold new for around $750

So...
In todays market, likely worth around 250

They sold on ebay regularly.
