Will Prowse Vids: Will Prowse's Favorite Electrical Tools! For DIY Solar Projects

Ordered $300+ dollars worth of new tools/crimpers, ect based on this video. Thank you Will for such a good overview of what you are using, it was extremely helpful.

I have three modular crimpers. It took buying three crimpers for me to wise up and just order the dies that I needed instead of buying a whole new crimper.

I bought a Pro'sKit Lunar crimper to do square ferrule crimps. It did a great job and felt solid in my hand. So I ordered their die to do MC4 crimps. Worked great. However, that die was not available on Amazon. I ordered it directly from the company. Fortunately, they were quick to get it to me. The company that I bought the die from is TotalEclipse4U.com. They have different crimper lines, so be sure you match the die to the correct line.

I would not buy a crimper that uses a die fastener that requires a screwdriver. The thumb screw fasteners hold my dies just fine.
