Found this bad boy in the wild. It's below sea flood level, mounted to a tree, and is county property, so someone must have thought this was code. ?

I didn't test it. It's near my hotel, and I did bring my GFCI tester....

I would absolutely charge an EV or bike off of that

I went to a home inspection customer… they noted the light switch was too close to the shower wall…

They didn’t note the MAIN CIRCUIT BREAKER PANEL WAS INSIDE THE SHOWER STALL…

Oh the place was an artists dream or nightmare… so many flipper electrical hacks… I have a thread here about some things I found…

120V hot tub non GFCI outlet with a hacked bubble cover on it, with a bench built directly in front of it, so access of the outlet was nearly impossible,… cobbled lighting,
Knob and tube wiring tied to telephone drop lines feeding porch light…
Indoor fans on the front porch with bare wires taped to the porch ceiling… lots of other issues…

All fixed by me thanks to the buyers agent.

I have a picture in my phone somewhere about a poolside outlet, buried in the grass, on the edge of the pool…
Customer complained the dang thing kept tripping and wanted me to remove the GFCI…. I declined…

You should suggest a clear curtain so they can watch the sparks.

The electric meter was directly above the main panel in this underground house, where I live, until I moved it off the roof.
I got tired of watching water run through the Main Panel and changing breakers. ?
