10kw powmr? ‎US-POW-SunSmart 10K-YF

Yeah. Will have to see what they come out with next. Im not sre i would want one or 2 of these. Wonder if its goofy like the 3k one i have now where the charger wont charge battery unless load is on?
 
I got this on prime day for 1400 shipped to my door roughly. I have put it through 4 cycles on a 280ah 48v battery with a rec bms, no issues this far using the lifepo4 16 setting, matches close enough to my battery settings. This will be going into my motorhome asap. It has been tested and has run my entire home, and shop. One 2.5 ton trane non inverter ac unit, 1 2.0 ton inverter gree flexx ac unit, my stove, 2x heat pump water heaters, heat pump dryer, and lg washer, dishwasher, and all normal items in a house. Not on solar yet, that's another discussion, drains the batteries in roughly 4 hours. Had an lvx6048, this was a piece of, yes I had alot of problems with it. I have pulled 7kw constantly with it with no issues, my 2.5 ton ac unit kicking on does flicker the lights, no other issues with appliances I have. If anyone has specific items they want me to attempt to run, ask away, I have welders, machining equipment I can test with, so far I have no issues, but 10kw is the sweet spot for me on sizing..
 
Just an FYI, I have pushed this unit like I was on utilities, it will run my house like I am on utility. I may be a bit unique because of heat pump appliances, but I have been going down a path for efficiency for awhile, my peak amps are low, but I constantly draw wattage due to our family size.

my mpow can only charge battery in bypass mode. That is when mains AC fully powers AC out and charges battery. PV can also charge battery at same time but PV cant power ac out while in bypass mode.

powmr.com Better order from them directly, amazon/ebay/aliaba have many resellers and sell them much more expensive. Right now there are amazing deals on these units.

That's the seller on Amazon, got it on prime day for 1417, with 6% off on top of that. Unsure you'll see that again, unit says it has a 2 year warranty. My lvx6048 failed weeks outside the warranty and has been nothing but a hot mess. So far the mrpoe has been everything I need, there are disadvantages to the more expensive options, but at this price point it does what I need. I have a recbms on a 280ah 48v battery.. alot more going on, but that's the basics atm.
 
I bought this inverter (PowMr Sunsmart 10K split phase) last month directly from PowMr. Had it shipped to the Caribbean Island Curacao, where I installed it at my house there. Payed $1700 including the wifi module and shipping. It arrived in 7 days with Fedex. Had to pay $200 custom duties, so all in all $1900 door to door.

You can get it here for $1400 incl. shipping

Here's a link to the OEM (where I ordered mine), should be a bit cheaper. I have a feeling you'll really like yours.

Looks good. Only thing that makes me wonder is the weight stated on the package - 14kg ??? Must be a mistake, because my PowMr version is 27kg. So, if yours is really only 14kg, then something must be missing.
 
Mine is installed and working perfectly since 4 weeks now. 9kwp solar panels connected (36 panels 250W - 9S4P). Have 48V/600Ah batteries connected. Loads both 110V and 220V (All lights, outlets, fridge, winecooler, microwave, sewage pump, 2 pool pumps, 6 TV's, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc.) I did not connect the airco's, because I have 10 of them, and that would definitely not work with just 10K. But we did an overload test and the inverter then first switched to bypass mode as expected, and shortly afterwards it shut down as it should. We also tested draining the batteries and it switched to bypass mode at the set low voltage, no problem. Switching back to the batteries when the batteries recovered also worked perfectly well. So, all in all, so far it's working like a charm.

The fans can get quite loud, especially when it charges the batteries with high current, like 80 to 130 amps, but since my system is in the garage, that doesn't bother me.

The only downside right now, is the data coming from the inverter over the wifi module. The data is not accurate, because there seems to be a fault in either the hardware or the firmware or both. The self consumption of the machine, which seems to be around 200W on average is not put into calculation correctly. It looks like the internal shunt, that should measure the current from and to the battery has a connection to the internals of the machine on the battery side. So, when charging the battery it will show ex. 20 amps, but only 16 amps flow into the battery and the other 4 amps are self consumption of the machine. And when discharging from the battery, it's the other way around, like showing only 16 amps discharge, because 4 amps go straight to the internal load, but actually 20 amps are flowing out of the battery. This leads to completely wrong charge and discharge data. I am in contact with PowMr because of this, and they promised to look into it. We will see. But anyway, this doesn't have any influence on the operational side.

Thanks for the write up. 200w self consumption seems high, I’m interested in what vendor says. When cutting back and forth from util to battery and the other direction , no issues with restarting electronics, loads just keep running with no disruption?
