Was it full pack or cell overvoltage? @Zapper77 showed a screenshot from a firmware that the max voltage set above the alarm voltage. If you had that Firmware it would be very likely to have caused pack overvoltage alarms.

I don't think it's common but these fans are loud. I have some LV2424s for other stuff and the fan on my 6500EXs are so much louder. Like, embarrasingly loud. I know the LV2424s also have to handle less power so its a somewhat unfair comparison but wow did it shock me how much louder my 6500EXs...

Reviving this late but what gauge is the wire? You can just get a fuse rated for the ampacity of the wire gauge it comes with.
