As i understand it, the multiplus will disconnect L2 input if 240v is not present, as it ignores (what it thinks is a bootlegged L2 connections.
I plan on installing a manual 50A switch to bypass the multiplus completely for emergency/ hardware issues.
When 'OFF' my multiplus is showing continuity between L1 and Neutral (dead short) on AC1. Open between L2 and Neutral. When 'On' shows the proper voltage/readings on all outputs. I'm looking at the block diagrams and dont understand why I am seeing continuity at these two points.
Hello experts,
Has anyone used the power assist feature to boost a smaller inverter? I already have a 2k inverter on a transfer switch to take over if power goes out. Would the multiplus have any issues boosting the smaller inverter...essentially expanding my 2K inverter up to 4-5K. (bootleg...
I believe you may have tripped the BB BMS some way (overcurrent). I would disconnect the batteries completely and see if they take an individual charge.
I've only seen 5-10 amps through my 7-way when charging my lithium batteries. The differential voltage is not high enough to push that many amps with that length and gauge of wire. Maybe if the batteries were empty?? Only been down to 50% discharge.
**Dual alts 440amps... 14.2-14.4 charge...
