Hi. I took two 12 volt batteries, wired them in series. Produced 26 volts. Hooked it up to a 24 v inverter. Then I put an AC device on inverter that draws 200 watts. When I took an amp reading. meter says I draw 16+ amps. 200 watts at 12 volts should be 16.6 amps...I would think 200 watts at 24...

Let's say I have 4 solar panels. I run two in parallel to produce 20 Vmp and 10 amps, and I run that to a positive and a negative buss bar. Then I take the other two and run in parallel to produce 20 Vmp and 10 amps and run that to the same buss bars. Do I now have 40 Vmp and 20 amps at the buss...

I am new to solar. If I had 2-300 watt/12 volt solar panels, and I wired them in series...Would I would obtain 600 watts/ 24 volts? ...would the resulting amperage be 25 amps? a=600w/24V...and if I then wanted to run a Straight DC system, no inverter, would I be able to expect the 2 panels...
