Owned an IT consulting company for 40 years specializing in hospitals and clinics. That's what paid the bills. Also ran a construction business for over 20 years, a hay farm for several years, and a few other gigs that helped me keep a little sanity. Now semi-retired to our working cattle ranch in East Texas. Semi-retired on the IT stuff, that is. You're never really retired if you're running cattle.
