Yes, I absolutely agree. I found sunshine ego to be very knowledgable and began the road to recovery of understanding. At least a lot of things here and there were others as well. Everybody’s helped so much. I’m very happy about that.😊

I will inspect my switch and definitely be upgrading things to a higher standard. However, I’m just trying to figure out the BMS issue right now.

Very interesting that said, is there anything inside the battery talking about connections can they get loose and you would never know it?

Hello and thank you very much for responding. Is a life pole for 280 amp power battery from Alberta lithium. I bought the battery brand new in November 2023. I’ve been using it since. I have 100 W freezer on it as well as an RV furnace pretty much that’s it except for cell phone charging laptop...

A solar panel issue? Because on my 60 amp 120 v charger, there’s no difference and usually on solar as today it has no problem charging up to 80 or 100% if it be by one or 2 o’clock in the afternoon. However the voltage is not up there. I’m getting 23 A of power from my solar takes about 5-6...

Then my BMS is lying to me

I only wish “Alberta lithium” was able to, or wanted to even help as much as you guys have. Very disappointed with them.

Never once did they talk voltage in trying to deal with my very obvious issue.

Don’t get me wrong I sort of understand most of it but just the fact that you can press a reset button or which was an accident by the way, or touch a box and create a cursor and hit a key. It’s like wow

Do you think if I hit the reset button last night when it reached 14.4 V that I would’ve woke up to a different state of charge this morning according to my BMS? Other words I would’ve been at 92%, and the right voltage?

So on most days when I only charge it to 80% do I need to let it rest after I turn the solar switch or the 60 amp charger off?

No not at all. I’m just learning a whole bunch all at once and I’ve heard a lot about not charging batteries over 80% online before and it had me all screwed up I guess…

Now I know why they show two 100% on the voltage chart just baffled me before lol

I must agree. I sure have ditched lead acid in a hurry. I can tell you that I’ve had this battery five months and it’s just been peaceful.

That’s about an hour ago after charging I still haven’t put a load on it yet. It’s just chilling.

So I was reading something today online somewhere about lithium batteries needing to be sealed up and not in your living quarters first I heard that is there anything to this?
