    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Only half my house is on battery. I basically live in a duplex (1553 sq ft and 800 sq ft). For some reason the LVX6048 running the 800 sq ft side likes to sip the grid even when there is plenty of solar. The 6000EX is on battery full time (well unless the batteries drain down). That's why I am...

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

My batteries top out by 11am in the sun. The rest of the day is wasted :(

I managed to squeeze out almost $6k in solar credit. I didn't get to claim my panels since they were used. If I had to do over again, I would have waited and bought new panels. New panels are about the same price I paid for used (and the new are higher wattage). With 30% back it would have been...

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

I am not too broken up about it. The way I look at it, I have a complete set of spares (less the MB). :p

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

Yeah, I thought about it, but honestly, I could never trust it to run autonomously. I mean, it would probably work fine for a single use inverter (like to weld or something) or a mobile power center that isn't going to be left unattended.

LVX6048 not showing correct battery voltage?

This ended up being a bad terminal pad on the mainboard (bad soldering).

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

$175 for the mainboard, plus shipping from Taiwan. I decided to move on from this inverter (yeah, sucks since I paid $1600 for it when it was all the rage). I replaced it with a spare EG4 6000EX that I had bought last year for $1000 shipped, but I have an SRNE 10K mounted to the wall that I...

    LVX6048 Battery Terminal

This happened last year, but I finally got around to disassembling my burned out LVX6048. It looks like it was a bad soldering job that caused this issue, but I think the battery terminal design is just poorly designed. There is a little daughter board that the battery cables connect to, and...

EG4 6000ex-48 beeps when connect pv?

Mine just started doing this (I know this an old thread) and I think it was line imbalance. I was running the heat pump, which was pulling about 1000w per line, and had the 110v hot tub running (1500w from Leg 2). Not positive this was it, but I turned off the hot tub and it stopped beeping...

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Not yet. I put up backerboard on the wall in my mechanical room, bought some new breakers, and ordered some wire. It's pretty cold here right now (well, cold for where I live) so I am not overly motivated. Also doing landscaping, building a garage/shop, painting, and oh yeah I have to put...

BYD 24v modules available again, and on sale!

I bought a couple of these a few years ago. 3kWh is pretty accurate and they still work today (powering my garage). The biggest down side is the size. These things are huge and weigh about 120 pounds once the heat sinks are stripped. https://diysolarforum.com/threads/byd-24v-battery-packs.27988/

MPP LVX 6048 Battery voltage back feeds to PV

This happened to me as well and I have learned to not trust any of the connections. If the unit is connected to any power source (utility, PV, Battery) treat the whole unit as live. I always disconnect the wires from the LVX first.

    4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Ordered Dec 28, shipped Jan 4, delivered today (Jan 8). Ironic that both of my Voltronic inverters have been on their best behavior since I ordered. It's like they know....

EG4 6000ex burning smell. Is it normal?

Is it happening when on battery? Either way, pop the cover and check the battery bus bars. Not sure how prevalent it is, but there was definitely some poor soldering done on my LVX6048. This appears to be a weak point. I have seen at least one video online of the same problem.

    102%

Kind of silly, but I was nerding out on Solar Assistant today and for a brief moment my EG4 6000EX hit 6kW from my 5.85kW (x18 325w Jinko) array. :p
