generator will only charge batteries if solar is detected

I have considered a chargeverter... I just can't bring myself to spend the $700 Canadian for the one or two times a year I may need it I have tried all of the options in settings 1 and 16 Have not tried changing settings 03 which is on the default of appliances In the manual for option 16 it...

generator will only charge batteries if solar is detected

Lol. I have done that and noticed the inverters detect voltage.... Might actually work. Not ideal to have to park my car in front of my panels and leave the lights on just to charge my batteries during the night

generator will only charge batteries if solar is detected

good day folks I'm running 2 x LV6548 with 20 kwh LFP batteries to supply my house with 240V AC, off grid.... the odd time i need to use my generator to charge my batteries i can only do so during the day when solar is detected... could be cloudy and only 5 watts coming in but as long as the...

Solar panels in parallel not working

I ended up using a different MC 4 y branch connector and that seems to have solved the problem.

Powering 12v modem from bluetti 12v 3amp port

It's a ZTE smart hub (requires a sim card)requiring an output of 12v 1.5amp. The ac power supply converts it to that

Powering 12v modem from bluetti 12v 3amp port

I'm looking to run my modem off the 12v port on the bluetti ac200. I have it currently running through the ac plug but would like to shut off the AC at night to save on battery drain but still have access to my modem. Is it as simple as finding a female to female barrel connection cable? If so...

Solar panels in parallel not working

I have 4 panels I'm trying to connect to my bluetti ac200, 2S2P I have them in a east and west array the 2 east are in series and the 2 west in series then connect Ed then in parallel using a branch connector. I measure 90v between the two leads but when I connect them to extension cables to...

Bluetti fans seem to be failing

I would prefer not to. I would if the warranty expired or bluetti doesn't help me. Problem is the unit still works but the fans don't so it's lifespan will be decreased and poissble battery degradation

Bluetti fans seem to be failing

My fans on the inverter seems to be on its way out. It used to be pretty strong when using the inverter with a 1500 w load and latley it doesn't even stay on for the time when there is a load. It will start but ramp down and start to struggle mid way through running a higher load. Anyone else...

    MPP-SOLAR LV6548

Does anybody have any suggestions on a generator that would work with 2 lv6548 in parallel? I would like to use a 240v 20amp single phase generator....the only thing I know is that it would need an inverter generator to get clean power. Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Is this the correct way to parallel batteries?

I'm measuring with a clamp on meter. I originally suspected this connection point as it doesn't seem as properly cropped as the others

Is this the correct way to parallel batteries?

Thx for that bit of info. I should get in to the habit of using bus bars... I currently just have the batteries in parallel with a positive connection going to the all in one inverter/charger (mpp solar lv6548) from one battery and the negative lead going to the inverter from the other battery...

    MPP-SOLAR LV6548

I also have a similar "problem". My panels have the current at 10.2A and I want to run them in a 4S2P config where the max current would be 20.4A. I'm under the impression that it will be fine and that the LV 6548 will only use 18A of the 20.4A Here's what I have built so far It charges my...

Connecting a RV for rent to a Bluetti AC200

I use ac during the day with the converter running the DC things (lights, furnace, water pump). The solar panels are able.to keep up in sunny days. I'm using 2 420W panels in series. If I'm looking to conserve power when the sun sets/cloudy I'll switch over to the 12v 10amp DC port on the bluetti...
