For a travel trailer application, this should not be an issue correct? Willing there is no clocks as you say to time keeping needs. 120v fridge / microwave / TV.... should be non issue.

@tictag why would you set the BMS to 3.85 cutoff if you state 3.65 is optimal charge? Wouldn't 3.65 be max cutoff?

thanks... agreed... if you are worried about it, get a battery. we get cold in early / late season, no option of shutting it off.

agreed with @snoobler , typical 12/3 house romex is good for 15amp circuit. Open your circuit breaker and see what we are talking about. Why are you going with marine wire, not typical house hold? I assume your wire is interior.

@carlos1w So you not happy because of the 120min max time frame. It sounds like your battery bank is similar to mine. I have 8 LifePo batteries making 2 banks of 4 ( 12v ea). not knowing how long they will take to charge, can I assume from your work, it will take much longer to charge all 8...

True they would, I would have to get a fancy roof rack system. and require I climb up lower there before and after we move the TT. Maybe in future. Step 1 is just build a set of LifePo for replacing current FLA batteries.

thanks for the idea. it just so happens, this weekend, we were working on a apartment, with wall heaters, 1 needs replacing. so there's an instant 1500 watt unit. I just hope it will work on 110v. just need to make a case for it.

I might be interested in 3 or 4. I have TT that I have LifePo batteries for, but no way to recharge, except generator. I see you asking the question, do you think they are good units for a TT? I have plenty of roof space on my 33ft TT.

yes most of the older heat sinks were glued on with that white paste, now they have a spring holding it down.

So how many of us turn off your inverters when not immediately in use? My thought is to have inverter on 100% of the time. I don't really want to have to turn off and on the box just to flip a switch, or run the microwave. If its my power source, i think it should be on 100% of the time.
