When I get going to fast on so many projects, and they start going sideways, I find its best to stop, step away for 20min, collect my thoughts, focus on 1 project, then move to another. I have stopped my "dumb mistake" problem. I have gotten sooo wrapped around a problem that was not really there.

yea i just realized that... when measuring voltage, if you get 12v, then this is a potential difference of 2 terminals... if you get 0v, then you have no potential difference as in current flowing through it. voltage you measure across the open device id 1 pos cable and 1 neg cable. but amperage...

in a Travel trailer / RV, weight is always a concern. At home, I'm all about having spares - backup plan. On the road, we try to keep "extras" at home. Weight is our enemy.

correct the BMS should NOT cut off due to AH, there is no setting for that. its setup for cell voltage upper / lower and overall voltage upper / lower cutoff. nope charger has no settings... its basically a standard RV charger, PD9145AL. its setup for LifePo battery. the Amps did drop to 8.0...
