diy solar

battery charging some up to 3.99 some at 3.3

cell1 ~ 3.43
cell2 ~ 3.43
cell3 ~ 3.42
cell4 ~ 3.40
Nothing wrong with this! Where do they settle over the next couple hours? Charge to 13.7v or 13.8v (my conservative top charge voltage) if repeatable.
Cell-1 ~ 3.414
Cell-2 ~ 3.378
Cell-3 ~ 3.381
Cell-4 ~ 3.385
This wasn't horrific either. Cell 1 looks divergent at this point (13.588v).
If you set your top charge voltage to 13.6v, it may settle to 13.4v (where mine do) and Bob's your uncle (all is good).

well its 6pm and they are doing good...
cell1 ~ 3.434
cell2 ~ 3.399
cell3 ~ 3.402
Cell4 ~ 3.403...
@13.63v, all seem pretty close.. BMS shows "remaining" at 278a/h so I assume it will cut off soon... it also has been the 373 min/ 6hr I calculated. This discharge / charge cycle is going much better... I will adj the BMS currently the, PACK OVERVOLTAGE is set to14.6v. this is 3.65 individual... I wont hit that, or doubt I will.

Good. I don't think your BMS will cut off based on Ahrs. Do you have CV or absorb voltage on your charger? If so what is it set at and do you know the Amps that are going into the pack now? If you want you can set BMS pack overvoltage at 14.0 and let it run and see how man more Ahrs you get. Just make sure your cell overvoltage is set at 3.60 so if one does take off you are protected. I still can't get all mine to 3.4 before one wants to head to 3.6. My pack only runs to 54 volts which is equivalent to 13.5 volts.

correct the BMS should NOT cut off due to AH, there is no setting for that. its setup for cell voltage upper / lower and overall voltage upper / lower cutoff.

nope charger has no settings... its basically a standard RV charger, PD9145AL. its setup for LifePo battery. the Amps did drop to 8.0 about 6:45 I checked the BSM voltage it was
cell1 ~ 3.53
cell2 ~ 3.60
cell3 ~ 3.54
cell4 ~ 3.58
i shut off the charger -dinner time cant keep watching, yes I have BMS, but i have been watching it.... after sitting for an hour the cells are
cell1 ~ 3.40
cell2 ~ 3.43
cell3 ~ 3.41
cell4 ~ 3.41

I'm pretty happy with those numbers if they hold. I will do another test tomorrow on the heat gun an see what it does. last time was 4.5hr of run time before BMS shut off. should be a 0.21 C rate if im correct. Best news is no Runner... this was the pack that had the cell that would run up to 3.6v before the others even hit 3.4

thanks to all for your assistance on this thread.
