Thanks everyone.... I could put a DC circuit breaker ahead of the switch, so I can turn everything off, then change selection. How can I tell if a switch is DC rated?
I’m trying to figure out a way to wire a panel so that it can feed 2 different solar generators (separately). I want to not disconnect and reconnect the mc4 Solar connectors to the individual generators and was hoping there was a switch to go from one output to another easily
Hi everyone!
Decided to downsize a bit... going to use only TWO panels, 2S configuration. and a 20A SCC. Battery and Inverter stay the same. Do I change my fuse sizes? (50 A ?) I think the 150A stays the same right? Do you recommend a switch between the battery and the SCC? Thank you
Hi, I have 4 panels, to run 2s2p and will end up having about 15-16A at 70V to my SCC.
Would 12AWG wire CCA be ok for this? about a 35 foot wire run.
Thank you!
I’d like to know this too! The newer looking ones are not Will’s choice on his blueprints, but not sure if that’s because he hasn’t tried, or hasn’t updated his …
Hi, I’m planning a 24v build and will likely use a 24v to 12v converter to power some 12V DC loads, like DC battery chargers, USB charging ports, via cigarette lighter adapters. How do you know what size fuses to put in the fuse block that is powered by The 24v to 12 converter?
and what wattage...
