It is LiFePo. Lion is the name of the company.

Agree. I started doing this. One fan consumes twice as many watts as another which is a huge eye opener. Bosch side by side fridge consumes 80 watts. Those are great things to know.
  • Post in thread: Connecting Solar Generator/Portable Power Supply To RV Inside the RV

    Yeah same here.
  • Post in thread: Help with AiLi Battery Monitor

Agree just charge it and tell the AiLi that it's at 100%. Do not discharge. Also on the instructions where it says "Preset Voltage Setting," make sure you leave the voltage setting at 0V/Invalid. Just skip this part. It's a common issue that users set a value in the volt setting and then when a...

Good idea I'll do that. Thanks.
  • Post in thread: Connecting Solar Generator/Portable Power Supply To RV Inside the RV

If you have an external 30amp female outlet on an RV, could you create a splice into the wires inside where the 30amp outlet enters the RV (between the outside outlet and the converter/12V panel) and create a new 30amp or 15amp hookup inside to plug the AC200 or whatever into, so that the AC200...
  • Post in thread: Copper pipe, 1/2-inch. What is max current capacity?

Is it safe to use copper pipe to attach to a shunt like this pic?
  • Post in thread: buy Bluetti AC50s for October delivery?

I would guess the current would be whatever is required to run the particular load at 12V?
  • Post in thread: AiLi Battery Monitor

The backlight off "trick" is in the instruction manual.
  • Post in thread: AiLi Battery Monitor

Same. And the 100A one says 150A on it. (I ordered the smaller one then got cold feet and ordered the larger one).
  • Post in thread: Shunt location on travel trailer with batteries in front

Okay I got motivated enough to take a few screws out of the bottom coroplast. I made a (terrible but short) video and took some pics. In the front there's like a bus bar but it looks like a bunch of fuses. I still don't know where to put the shunt. It's supposed to go between the battery...
  • Post in thread: Shunt location on travel trailer with batteries in front

Thank you so much for the thoughtful responses! I know it took you time and brain power to do that. Yes you are correct it's on with screws it'll be easy to remove. It'll just break up some of the spray foam insulation that Forest River (NoBo 19.8) has used to seal up some wire and plumbing...
  • Post in thread: Bluetti AC200 & AC50S

I just received accessory cords yesterday!
  • Post in thread: Lion Energy UT1300 at Costco again

If I got these batteries It said sale ends 11/22 while supplies last. I guess the supplies didn't last. That's a bummer.
  • Post in thread: Bluetti AC200 & AC50S

    Cool. AC50S and SP120.
  • Post in thread: Shunt location on travel trailer with batteries in front

Eek that sounds terrible. Mine has self tapping screws with a good sized hex head on them so I'm able to use a nut driver bit with my drill. Although I haven't taken any of the screws out of the chassis yet so hopefully I won't have an issue. Maybe I'll do it this afternoon if I can bring myself...
  • Post in thread: Shunt location on travel trailer with batteries in front

I just read this: "You CAN connect your load to ONE of the batteries, and it will drain both equally. However, the preferred method for keeping the batteries equalized is to connect to the positive at one end of the battery pack, and the negative at the other end of the pack."
  • Post in thread: Connecting Solar Generator/Portable Power Supply To RV Inside the RV

So you'd have the aviation to XT cable inside the trailer, and the XT to MC4 running through the slide out? You could just have long MC4 to run through the slide seals and have the other two cables just always inside, especially since the MC4 are waterproof and I don't know if XT cable is...

USPS. I did not get a tracking number.
  • Post in thread: Kill a watt type meters

Thanks. I ended up getting a couple of P3s from Harbor Freight.
  • Post in thread: Connecting Solar Generator/Portable Power Supply To RV Inside the RV

I am thinking about doing this now because it just sounds easier to me...Run these three things through the floor from inside in a spot where the AC200 can sit (an already existing under the bed nook) to outside (probably somewhere I already have some cords exiting underneath): (1) a short &...
  • Post in thread: buy Bluetti AC50s for October delivery?

The AC200 more specifically says "only 12A will be received when the current exceeds 12A." So I wonder if that's how the AC50S also operates, except with 10A. Or could the amps be more as long as it's under 120w?
  • Post in thread: buy Bluetti AC50s for October delivery?

I think the whole point of IGG is that they are raising money so that they can produce the product. Maxoak/Bluetti is good for it. That's why Will and Hobotech were adamant about supporting it and Hobotech saying "do not support vaporware." Buying from IGG isn't like buying from a store. They...
  • Post in thread: Weird issue with Bluetti AC200

I don’t want to change the thread here but how did you do this?
  • Post in thread: buy Bluetti AC50s for October delivery?

Yes I ordered 2 SP120’s bundled with the AC200 as a “perk” on IGG. The 2 panels came in over a month ago. The 50S came in on Oct 19th (first “UPS label printed” shipping email was on Oct 9th, it shipped on 15th, delivered on 19th. Today I received my “ups label printed” email for the AC200.
  • Post in thread: Cheap 10amp PWM- am I overloading?

A pwm is not supposed to lower the amps to 10 right? It should be like an error code instead? I really need to get a 20 amp controller don’t I. Assuming wiring can handle. I will try to get some more data and when I am back in good service I can post.
  • Post in thread: Shunt location on travel trailer with batteries in front

In my two battery system, after I connect the shunt to one battery and all negative loads to the shunt, should I put all the positive loads on the OTHER battery that the shunt is not connected to? Or does it matter?
  • Post in thread: buy Bluetti AC50s for October delivery?

Do you think if I have this, but I'm only using two of the three branches, that's bad? Would I be compromising the waterproof part of it?
  • Post in thread: How to get the most out of a cheap PWM SCC

According to the wiring diagram on page 8 of the SCC manual I linked to above, there "should" already be a fuse between the SCC and Batt on the pos wire. However, travel trailer wiring can be hard to follow so I actually don't know. I need a tool to energize the positive wire that exits the SCC...
  • Post in thread: Temco Lug Crimping Tool

Do you ever find yourself wishing you had the 11 ton one? Or is the one you have good? I'm deciding between the TH0006 like yours, and the TH0005 Version 2.0 which they just introduced. The TH0005 does not include a 12ga die, which would be nice if it did but not sure how necessary that is...
