Thanks, I will search for some ideas.
I spent a good 10 years of my life fixing the Atlas brand of ham radios where a larger number of them were used on sailboats. Saltwater corrosion was their biggest enemy.
The 7300 is in the house and not connected to the off-grid setup. I am a ham, so not using a CB antenna but a 40m inverted-vee relatively close to the inverter on one end of it, which is probably the biggest reason for the RFI and not an easy fix.
I am not familiar with the CMC and was hoping...
My RFI issues came from the SCC and a Mix31 on each wire dropped from S9 to barely perceptible. The higher the frequency, the worse it was from me. Someone mentioned cheap getting rid of cheap inverters and chargers but my Victron 250/100 is much worse than a BougeRV 60a SCC, virtually silent...
I sold all of mine about 8 months ago and put it somewhere else that didn't make as much but I am OK with that. However, I then found that part of my MFS mutuals are invested in Pfizer.
Thanks for this…

Santa is delivering more panels today but the fog is so thick, I can't see the houses across the street.
Tomorrow is the only day we expect to see any sun. So I am running from the grid to keep batteries as close to full as possible.
I didn't expect that and by a substantial amount too, even when it is cloudy and raining I was getting over 300w from it.
Is this because the MPPT works better at the higher 48v battery voltage?
Same solar charger, same panels.
Changing the Battery cut-off voltage in WatchPower causes the same thing for me, it shows the battery capacity % much lower. The higher the voltage, the lower the % that appears. Mine is set at 21.0 VDC and battery voltage at 26.5v showing 98% with no load.
I have the LV2424 MSD and trying...
I used a 25ohm 50W resistor with 48v Vatrer battery and Victron Multiplus II 3kva.
No sparks and inverter turned on in a few seconds after.

Sunny and cold here at 9F. Haven't been running off solar for two weeks and kept the batteries warm and topped off in case of power outages.
A new array is producing 20% more volts going into the charger and causing a fault. It's 2 volts below the 150vdc maximum. It normally runs ~...
I have this issue too. MP2424 and very noticeable on 20m and up making it unusable. 40 and 75m no problems. Moving the antenna further away helps obviously but I don't have enough property. Much of it is coming out the AC lines from the inverter because disconnecting the PV doesn't have...
I am using this Heating pad with four 100ah 12v LiFePO4 batteries. This pad is placed vertically between them in an insulated box. The batteries are compressed together to maintain good contact but not much pressure. This is my 3rd season using them.
When outside was -10F, the temp of the...
The choke on the right with white wire looks identical to the ones I am using and it works quite well to suppress the upper HF 30m and up was S9 noise and made it unusable. I am fairly certain it is 20 turns.
I need an oscilloscope. It's been years since I've had a functional one.
thanks...
Just got mine today and doesn't detect any solar input.  Measure 139vdc before I connect PV, then it goes to zero volts when I connect. See a slight spark on PV wire. Unit sees battery and firmware was updated.
Disconnected older BougeRV solar charger, connected Bluetti...
I just had this issue when operating in UPS mode, with no loads as I turned my ham radio off, and three computers. The AC that feeds it comes from my solar array. Very discouraging after the 2nd night in use. Prior nights I left the computers on with about 120w load but didn't experience the...
I have SA working on RPi4 and it can see the Multiplus II. I connect the SCC 250/100 using what I thought was the correct cable to the VE port, but nothing in the Device list for the SCC.
Is there a special cable to connect Victron devices together or just a ethernet cord?
Thanks to all for their input and experience.
My 7300 is not connected to the inverter output, battery or charger inputs, it is totally isolated.
I don't need any more noise contributed by the unit in the audio spectrum with chattering ferrite cores.
The antenna's close proximity does not...
I have several options, the best of which is to move south where it is warmer.
It's not often this cold and this is a secondary array but I have a Victron in mind as I plan to increase this string.
thanks
I have not felt this unit to be hot at any time, I hardly push it and only use it to cover the 10 seconds I might switch from solar to grid in my office and keep the computers running.
That is very concerning.
I live in Akron and had better performance in the winter with my bifacial panels then I do now. Getting 950w from 4 x 300w panels.
Cleaning does make a difference!!
The cold weather blew-out my 24v solar charger with over-voltage. Even the manufacturer said it should have never reached 150vdc let alone render it useless. Fortunately I had a backup and this was a secondary array.
That was the only day in January we had sun, until yesterday.
Same here. No reply.
Also, there are too many spelling errors to consider them reputable. How hard can it be to have a English speaking person to review before posting on Amazon.
I have Hyundai 300w bifacial panels that work much better in the winter and are mounted about 3 feet from my white sided shed. At this time of the year around 10am sunlight bounces off the shed onto the back of the panels and provide a significant boost in output. Often in the winter the array...
I have 24vdc>12vdc and it's not ideal. It works OK, gives off some noise, so I just plug my Antron 14vdc supply into AC to run my 7300. It's so little power on receive that the efficiency losses are very small. If you transmit a lot, that could be more problematic. That enables me to always...
So each Victron device must feed to the RPI ?
I have the RPI4> MK3 going to the Multiplus and the MP is plugged into the SCC using VE bus.
You can't daisy chain devices?
This was my goal to use 4 panels, 2s2p with each group pointed ~ 35 degrees from noon winter sun angle. I will have just one MPPT charge controller @145Vmax using the LV2424 MSD 2.4KW . Planning to use Talesun 330w panels with 40VOC max which I am ready to click the buy now button on...
If you're a ham radio operator or just curious about RFI with this device, it's absolutely horrendous when charging the batteries on AC grid power with the solar panel wires connected. It gets worse when charging thru the panels.
It doesn't appeared to be a FCC certified device.
Oh boy, aren't you nice.
I haven't been in the hospital, had COVID and recovered. You're one of those who denies science and natural immunity aren't you.
