Santa is delivering more panels today but the fog is so thick, I can't see the houses across the street. Tomorrow is the only day we expect to see any sun. So I am running from the grid to keep batteries as close to full as possible.

Ensure the PV polarity is correct. It's easy to switch if the model uses MC4 connectors as it is not very clearly marked.

The LV2424 is a loud beast with high idle consumption as well as a RFI generator. I plan to get rid of mine when the 48v inverter is installed.

Did you update your firmware recently? That fixed my issues.

Get what you paid for if the return isn't expensive. I get the best output from my bifacial panels in the winter. Heat definitely affects performance.

I have not felt this unit to be hot at any time, I hardly push it and only use it to cover the 10 seconds I might switch from solar to grid in my office and keep the computers running. That is very concerning.

I live in Akron and had better performance in the winter with my bifacial panels then I do now. Getting 950w from 4 x 300w panels. Cleaning does make a difference!!

The cold weather blew-out my 24v solar charger with over-voltage. Even the manufacturer said it should have never reached 150vdc let alone render it useless. Fortunately I had a backup and this was a secondary array. That was the only day in January we had sun, until yesterday.

If you're a ham radio operator or just curious about RFI with this device, it's absolutely horrendous when charging the batteries on AC grid power with the solar panel wires connected. It gets worse when charging thru the panels. It doesn't appeared to be a FCC certified device.
