Keep in mind that the diesel engine you picked is not a low speed engine. It will NOT last as long as a good slow speed engine, like the small tractor engines for example. Essentially it will last as long as a lawn mower engine. The only advantage to it over a gasoline engine is that the fuel is...
Steel guttering is as common as aluminum or plastic.

Just curious… lazy old non-on-the-air ham here…
Why wouldn’t it work just to turn off/isolate the noisy equipment while on the air? Do you work at night or? If so, it would be a very simple solution to just turn off the dirty equipment.
Where did you buy the batteries? I got my 100 amp Chins from Amazon and the first two are just slightly different from the last 4. I ordered them a few weeks apart. The packing and documentation was the difference, not the actual batteries.
YMMV…
I’ve used unvented wall mounted propane fired heaters for LOTS of years. I’m 75 and still alive. Absolutely no issues with the heaters except keeping them running. The thermocouples tend to fail. Other than that, NO issues.
YMMV…

The calculator requires some sort of conduit. What about NO conduit, open air that is. I wonder if there is a calculator for that or is there a simple answer, or doesn’t it matter for this application?
I finally remembered to check the watt meter on the fridge. It has averaged 456 watts per day for the last 17 days. Not sure that can be beat. A 21 cubic foot fridge/freezer running on less power than a 20 watt lightbulb. Knock wood this thing lasts.
Be careful with standard meters. I bought a box of them off ebay and installed one in my previous system.
I accidentally installed the first meter upside down, that killed it. Apparently to keep people from running them backward. I had more fortunately.

here is the video:
That is what the maker says. Danfoss apparently makes good stuff and the $$$ they get for it show. It is specialty equipment and as such demands a premium.
My fridge in the camper pulls something like 600 watts running on 110 volts. It is an absorption unit and they have (had?) their place, but...
