The people who swear off of credit cards due to some unfounded fear are the ones who make me SMH.
i hope your issue gets resolved soon, however i would offer that some patience is required in these types of situations, and especially during these times of companies being low staffed.
It's imperative that you match the battery max amp potential with the proper inverter. 100amp bms will be ok with a 12v/1000w inverter. That same bms will not at all like having a 1500w inverter hooked to it if you are pulling more than 1000 watts. Remember...AH (amp hours) is not what you need...
Yup, and those that thought that lifepo4 battery prices would keep decreasing didn't see the signs of the exact opposite about to happen.
Now that I've seen prices start to ease upwards for Chins, zooms, etc., I believe it is time to pull the trigger on a couple.
I just completed my first (partial) DIY build after viewing Wills videos, among other sources. It is 12v/200ah PLUS Power Queen and 1500w Voltworks mounted to a 1000lb dolly from Harbor Freight, and made to slave off of my bluetti for charging purposes (via AC charger). It successfully ran a...
Those batteries in parallel add up to 200a. Does that matter in this computation of wire size and inverter size, or do we just consider the amps being pulled by the inverter?
After many hours of research I finally pulled the trigger and got the Voltworks 1500 watt inverter. So far all I have done with it is test it via direct connection to my truck battery.
Keep in mind that these 1500 watt inverters can pull 125 amps or slightly more, so any battery you hook up to...
I have...$29 each for the thinnest plywood at Lowes. The only good news is the lumber futures have cratered once again, so MAYBE some lumber price reduction is foreseeable.
AC200P is overkill for the OP. An EB150 would be more in line for his current needs and ready for some future needs too.
Fwiw, I have an ac200p for my 1700 sq ft house, and I plan to get the EB150 to store excess electrons.
I purchased a 600w pure wave giandel which I am returning as it alarms within 10 mins of the Bluetti pulling 460 watts thru it from a fully charged 12v car battery. Inverter gets pretty warm but fan never comes on. Cables are not hot, just warm.
Main question that I cannot find an answer to is...
Just say no to Lithium Ion. Wanna see some real scary stuff? Watch vids of E-bike batteries catching fire while in an elevator with people in there too.
I have the B230 piggyback battery with my AC200p. I have them stacked on a small 4 wheeled dolly that I can easily move around the house if need be, as they are at least 100 lbs together. My recent Power Queen purchase was mainly as an overflow for max solar harvesting purposes.
The link doesn't go to the low temp version. This is the link to the low temp version, which is $30 more.

Of course it won't work as purchased, but I did buy two accessories in order to mate everything up from AC plug to the battery clamps.
So, would it work?
The stats on my AC200P show efficiency of at least 88%. So can we assume that it would use up to 12% of all input power just to operate, including keeping some reserve power on hand (say 250 watts)?
The next test for my AC200P is to see how long it stays powered up starting with a 100% charge...
My panels generate the same amount of watts at midday in the summer as they do the winter. But I have to angle them differently to get that to happen. That's the beauty of not having permanently installed panels.
So basically the AC200P and the AC brick were designed to work together kopacetically at the very unique and specific 58.8v/8a output of the brick?
Dang, I was hoping that I had sidestepped having to buy a separate AC charger for a separate lifepo4 battery.
It's no wonder those blade get eaten up, as where there is a lot of wind there is a lot of small hard particles being blown around just high enough for those blades to smack in to. I've seen vehicle paint jobs be eaten alive in a 30 minute dust/wind storm to the tune of thousands of $$.
