I have a JK BMS with heat function and two temperature probes. It works well, I have not been able to find what temp probe activates the heat. Is it T1, T2 or an average of both.

Just got a new JK BMS B1A8S20P-H-C, a little confused for the heat cable. I know it switches negative and the cable has 5 negative cable tied together however it also has a black and red wire. Not sure what these are for and of course it’s not in the manual.

Building my 12v battery pack with a silicone 20w heat pad. I was surprised of the heat it puts out, reaches 160 deg F quickly. What’s the common installation method. I would think these are two hot to mount directly to the battery?

BMS are JK-B1A8S20P-H-C, found a manual which is basically junk. The power wires are dual connections so for 200A I’m getting 2 x 4AWG. Is that right.

Just ordered 2 JK 200A with heat control. I’ll build two separate batteries for redundancy and hook them up in parallel.

I think your missing my question, should I set my BMS to charge to 3.5 or 3.6 now that they’re is series and BMS hooked up.

My top balancing was done at 3.6v In parallel. I went to series and applied a load and am down to +/- 3.3 now. So if I read you correctly you would,set the BMS charge voltage to 3.5V and 14v total for daily operation. Thanks.
