BMS wire sizing

JK 200A BMS. Mine did not come with wiring but Andy tested one that came with 2 x 7G wires which seems small. From my battery to RV I have 2/0. I bought 4G with the intention of using 2 of each to connect the BMS to the battery per pole internally however the 4G is very hard to work with. Looked at many charts and it seems 4 x 8G may be a good solution. Any thoughts. Distance is less than 1foot.

Those are super fine strand, silicone insulated conductors. They have higher ratings than THHN/THWN. And are a lot more flexible to work with.
4 x #8 AWG THHN/THWN would be fine for the current. But still hard to work with.
