Nevermind, I think I may have found what I needed in this thread.
Looks like I need to customize things just a little a bit.

I have a Growatt LVM3000es 48v which trips the GFCI feeding it's a/c input when charging from grid.
I'm guessing this is a neutral ground bond issue, but I can't find any info on it in the manual https://signaturesolar.com/content/documents/GROWATT/1519009-manual.pdf
Is there a screw inside...
I just bought the two 100/20 used after the prices dropped so only paid $75 ea.
Won't lose much selling them. Before going victron I was using a growatt 3000, still am using that to charge from generator but want to stop using it for winter where the idle consumption is just too high. Currently...
I wish.
I live in a tiny town in a rural area where I can't sell my current panels, I have what I have and am stuck with them. Even if I bought different panels I am space limited by my city lot and roof shape/size as to where I can fit them, they won't all fit facing the same direction no...
Sounds good but I don't have space to face 8 panels the same direction, so now what? Can I connect panels facing different directions to catch sun at different times of the day to the same combiner box and SCC?
I had to google what you said there about no voltage drop without current flowing, I do not remember that from college I took decades ago for electronics field service. You're right. Dang. My memory is just not so good any more.
I don't have any answer for you but "Would output 100a all day long"... Not where I live in the winter, I'm lucky to get 2KW from around 5500w of panels after an entire day of rain and clouds, which is the reason I've had to switch from using the growatt, it's idle consumption was greater than...
This is what I was missing in my confusion, I forgot/didn't actually realize how much the voltage drops under load.
I will eventually get another controller but that has to wait, I've been buying a ridculous amount of stuff lately and just can't spend any more atm.
I already have the panels...
I searched and can't find the answer, even though I'm sure it's probably been answered a million times.
I bought a smartsolar 150/45 and I guess I need to know what the overpanel limits are.
The specs for it say 150v input max and 50a input current, which leads me to calculate 7500w max panels...
Yes my conversation with the seller is in ebay messaging, ebay can see what the issue is.
I told the seller:
"
Ok, I will have to do the return. I really don't want them at this point anyway. After reading the pdf below to see if I could ship them it says there may be safety issues with...
No, just plain brown boxes with no indication there are hazardous materials inside or lithium batteries inside.
They seem to be packaging them ok though aside from not having proper labeling, double boxed with foam packing all around them.
OK, so the seller has agreed to pay return shipping, but I think I am not authorized to ship hazardous materials and according to the pdf below lithium batteries of this size are hazardous materials...
Thanks for the info. I looked up the GSL and maybe you are correct, it also has ul9540a, but those have an added touchscreen on it and the EG4 would have an entirely redesigned case.
What is a good source in the US to check pricing for the GSL do you know? Rather than alibaba or aliexpress...
There was no link there that applies to me and my situation, and there is no link under my return to do anything,
When i look at the status of my return I only see:
The case is pending
Hang on, we're still reviewing your case.Hang on, we're still reviewing your case.
We'll be in touch with...
Ebay wouldn't allow me to open a case before because conditions have to be met first, Now that seller has opened a case I see no way for me to open a case either, it's still not an option and there is still no way for me to contact ebay.
Yes, too good to be true, I knew better but was really...
