Yes I thought that the power wattage on devices is the average for an hour given that some are constant consumption and some are erratic with surge. I thought that manufacturers put the average power on the label to make it easy to calculate the hourly consumption.
Now I got it. It is the peak...
In my EPEVER There needs to be 2-3 volt higher than the battery max volt for the SCC to be able to charge. So you need 16-17v to simulate a panel power source
Hi,
This vendor
Shenzhen Luyuan Technology
Is saying that they are ordering new true grade A 280ah directly from EVE for 118usd/pcs. They also sell grade B 280ah for around 84usd/pcs
Anyone has ordered those 118usd? how can we tell if they are truly grade A if grade B is also pulling full...
Yes please. I just went through thousand pages. I was looking for how do you find out the state of charge (SOC) I had one idea in mind. But I am sure you have figured something better as you have been working on this for sometime already. If you just powered the BMS to a battery how can it tell...
How can I tell? Can you tell from the picure if the stud is aluminium? From the shin looks like stainless.
How about I sand around the stud a bit and put soft copper or aluminium washer and that would press on the sanded area, then busbar comes on top of the washer?
Would something like
MG...
To prevent SCC self consumption during winter months. Is there any other solution to this? I measured it is 0.5w @14v = 1kw/3months. my battery is 1kwh so it will deplete it completely, right?
But those size are like terminals that I got first order (see previous pages) , now I am saying that they are even smaller. Could you take a look and confirm? The video is using the older ones. So we have now 2 types, small ( no big problem) and tiny (which I am talking about now). I took...
Thank you for sharing knowledge. There was no need to repeat what you have already said. The first paragraph of your answer was good explanation. I was just hoping that I would be able to buy some of those bulk cells from Amy, I guess it is temporary shortages due to high demand as you said.
Thank you. Yes I agree. But which bring me to the question. Is there need for a fuse between SCC and battery as in for safety reason? I followed victorn wiring guide and they just talked about fuse the load such as inverter, and also the PV string. Nothing about fuse between SCC and battery.
Did you have to measure IR and send it to them?
Have you tested the capacity of the damaged cells, would be interesting to see the effect of such damage on capacity
I got this from Basen:
*Unit price:US$87/pc; 4pcs=US$348
*Shipping cost:US$159 To Finland
TOTAL AMOUNT:USD507
How much was the shipping to Sweden from Basen?
Oh grade A for them is the rejected cells that did not match the specs. For her there is something called A+ and those are the ones that matches the specs of the cell... go figure
I feel that when I order A+ they will tell me oh but there is A++ ...
@wattmatters couple of questions more :)
1- Based only on the data from the on-grid inverter, we are not able to know if the net meter shows we are exporting or importing data, correct? because on-grid inverter just shows the power from solar, and does not know about appliances self-consumption...
ok so 310W draw when running. how do you calculate the consumption if it running for 5 seconds? 310W*5 = 1550w.Sec which is 0.43wh. ok thank you guys I think I got that part
But it still means that if my loads rating is 1000W, I need at least 1000W inverter to run them
Xuba has been avoiding and ignoring my questions about the VAT amount that I pay through them. Is there any seller that ships DAP so I could handle the customs and VAT myself?
Ok thanks, so do you recommend those 280K grade A fron Nkon? or should I look into another manufacturer? I keep reading that the 280K is having issues even if grade A
Hi,
Like if the new grade A EVE 280ah cell cost 175usd. How much EVE is selling the grade B cells to the alibaba resellers? I heard that they group buy together from EVE. But how much % of produce cells matches the A grade specs and how many end up as B. And for how much those Bs gets sold...
Mine are 110ah. The answer I got that the cell has not yet suck in the liquid. I have been using 4 of them and I will disassembly the pack and shake again for noise
But for simplicity I said do not worry about the health/protection of the battery. The question is about the internal resistance of battery vs an MPPT that can manipulate its internal resistance. Why would you ignore the question I am trying to find an answer for and worry about the only thing...
