What's insane to me is that any time anyone posts a good Docan review, everyone simply accepts it with no evidence whatsoever, but any time someone posts a complaint about Docan, a huge number of forum members just attack that person, demanding ridiculous evidence, and tons of people pile on...

Nothing he said is untrue, though. Docan do not sell grade A batteries, if they did they could provide test reports, which they do not. It's pretty open and shut here. I bought 64 LF280K from Docan so I'm not saying they're a terrible supplier, but you get exactly what you pay for.

Honestly, people need to stop taking purchasing advise from people who get paid to recommend certain products, period. There is no guarantee of integrity in a system like that.

Isn't this essentially what Intel does with CPU cores? They get a silicon disc with a bunch of cpu's printed on it, some of those will be great and get binned as a high clock speed part, others may have internal defects, so they will disable portions of that chip and sell it as a cheaper part.

This is my assumption. It's otherwise a striking coincidence that when EVE decided to put the B marking, Docan can/will no longer supply EVE cells.

My cases just arrived! Boxes look in....reasonable condition. For some unknown reason, they have lithium battery stickers on the boxes even though these are just cases? Seems weird lol The BMS and display appear to be pre-installed on the front panel which I wasn't expecting, haven't got into...

This is categorically false. You can buy whatever grade battery from the factory you want, if you want to pay more for the EV spec batteries that is absolutely an option available to you.

For those new terminals - do they supply a busbar to connect cells end to end, like in a standard 16S configuration? f.ex the connection i have (poorly) circled in red:
