My dad didnt teach me shit....... And I have the largest swath of skills of my immediate friends group past and present. Yeah, Im different. I know it.
You have every right to be tense. All these jack offs, including me, can go pound sand! :) Our banter doesnt mean much compared to the drama that you are involved in.
You are fine. No apology needed. Keep you head up brother.
I bought 18 370 watt aptos panels and installed in 2 strings of 9 for 6660 watts total.
I just got a cloud edge that was 8653 watts for about 30 seconds.
I thought one 6000xp could only do 8000 watts?
Never mind, specs say max 10000 watts for PV.
But still, these panels rock.
I dont believe the writing on the wall could be any more clear.
It is my understanding that grid power will be vastly more expensive when >50% of people use EVs and that will most likely take a decade to fix brown out issues and find price parity with the "new world" of electric everything.
Oh...
I received sustained 106% of my panel rating in Feb. Very much unlike June and July. February seems to be a fair to good month for solar. The cooler temps help out a lot here in Wisconsin.
Seems totally plausible.
I have been using Victron VRM for a couple years now with my raspberry Pi.
A couple months ago I added the solar irradience widget to my advanced view. Supposedly it utilizes AI for its forecast.
I have found this incredibly useful in determining how far I care to drain my batteries overnight...
Victron charge controllers are the best. Period. Quite, cool, efficient, best software, updates often, great warranty, pretty, what more would you ask for? Oh I know!
You can get the Ral 5012 blue color and powder coat everything else to match the awesome Victron Blue...
LOL, Me too!!
Wisconsin had a severe thunderstorm in my are last night.
Called for 70MPH winds starting at 3 AM!
Im like, son of a....
I had what seemed like a good idea after thinking a while.
I have more than 15 of those 27 gallon orange totes that home depot sells.
I placed 2 under each...
Oh no hah. Either way. A very nice guy from EG4 and on this forum named EG4_Jarrett helped more than I would have expected or imagined. I was astounded by his prompt responses, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
I find it hard to believe you are calling Hy17 coo coo for saying that coal is the best, cheapest, and cleanest way. I agree.
The GDP of the USA agrees as well.
Isnt 3.45 the magic number for 100% with slow charging and zero detriment? I am pretty sure you are right!
I usually charge to 3.45 and once every 5-6 months charge to 3.55 for balancing.
You are right, Your english isnt great, but it is perfectly fine. I understood exactly what you wanted to say.
Good job! Have a good day! (my english isnt "great" either)
If you installed in Jan. and you are in the northern hemisphere. You are in for some good times! I installed in June and it started great and got shittier and shittier and shittier. Im in my first winter. I learned that the output 2nd week of november to 1st week of feb is as depressing as the...
I dont think it would. Some AGMs can have a higher charging voltage than LifePo4. Some go up to 15v. A lot of them are at 14.6
I dont think you have anything to worry about. But dont take my word for it. Im wrong half the time im right. :)
I find it very odd to get mad about a conversation on safety.
Sure, OP may not care that a shed burns down in the middle of nowhere, but doesnt understand why we cant just smile and nod in agreement.
When talking about audio reproduction and power, it has been said that a 10X increase of power is equal to a perceived doubling of volume. With that in mind you need to know what you want out of this. I have used 20 watt amps on mains and a 400 watt amp on bass with awesome results. If you are...
I got 36 100 watt renogy {cough} panels. 12 in series 3 lines. I just got 3900 watts out of it on 2-15 it was at 3600 plus for an hour. I was floored!!
Perhaps for a good reason!
